If you're a fair weather fisherman who likes to pull in big fresh from the ocean fish, this is the one for you. Catch the last of Oregon's summer weather with mild days, typically in the 70's and 80's, along with some of the greatest salmon fishing in the northwest.
It's also a wonderful time to enjoy the scenery along Oregon's north coast and the beauty and expanse of the lower Columbia River. This area is often referred to as Buoy 10.
Fishing here can be phenomenal for Chinook and Coho salmon during the fall season, and limits are not uncommon.
